We have chosen to remain an out-of-network provider and not take insurance directly for the following reasons:
-
The insurance industry has become more about making money than about providing the best quality of care for its clients.
-
In order for insurance companies to continuously rationalize their denial of or limit of care for a client to receive, many companies have become intrusive into the kinds of information they request as well as often to the detriment of the therapy process (e.g., demanding repeated formal testing that would then have to occur during therapy session appointments and thus precluding the client from receiving the actual therapy they need).
We can contact your insurance company and ask specifically about your out-of-network benefits for speech, language, and/or feeding therapy with a certified and licensed speech and language pathologist to find out if you are eligible for reimbursement. We can provide you with a monthly invoice specifically to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement that will include receipt of payments, code(s) of the service(s) provided, and diagnosis.
