About Making Waves
We are a speech, language, and feeding therapy practice that provides individualized treatment, consultations, and evaluations by a highly experienced, certified and licensed speech and language pathologist.

Amy Kantor, MS, CCC-SLP, TSSLD, M.Ed, MA has over seventeen years of experience as a certified and licensed speech and language pathologist providing services to help clients of all ages, from infancy to adult, with speech, language, and/or feeding disorders, difficulties, and concerns.
​
Education
Amy received two master’s degrees from Teachers College, Columbia University, an MS in speech and language pathology and an M.Ed (Masters in Education) and MA in psychological counseling for her extensive work and focus on teaching children, parent education, and counseling regarding childhood development and all parenting needs and concerns.
Experience
She has worked in multiple settings including schools, center-based programs, early intervention, outpatient and private clinics, and hospitals.

She has worked with children of all ages and families providing developmental education, training, and counseling for several years in addition to her seventeen years as a speech and language clinician.
Amy incorporates all of her extensive training and experiences into the therapy process to understand, diagnose, and treat each individual to provide the highest level of individualized therapy services for speech, language, and social communication as well as feeding and swallowing issues.
